BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) held a presentation ceremony for 74 officers and staff who were awarded the Long Service Medals, according to a local media report on Saturday.

The ceremony took place at the MPRT building in Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei. Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Haji Abdul Manaf presented the medals to the staff to acknowledge their services and contributions, local daily Borneo Bulletin reported.

"It also serves as an encouragement to the members of the Ministry, to further enhance their performance and fulfill their duties with excellence," the MPRT said in a press release.
