TUNIShouseoffunbonus, June 21 (Xinhua) -- A Tunisian military pilot was killed and another injured on Friday when a helicopter crashed during a scheduled flight mission in the central province of Gafsa, according to private radio station Mosaique FMhouseoffunbonus.

The helicopter reportedly went down "during the landing maneuver at Gafsa air base," Mosaique FM said.

"Medical teams responded to the scene and transported the crew, consisting of two pilots, to the Houssine Bouziane regional hospital in Gafsa," the report added, noting that one pilot was pronounced dead at the hospital.■
