The State intellectual property Office recently issued a white paper entitled "the State of intellectual property Protection in China in 2023". This paper introduces the progress and achievements of China's intellectual property protection in 2023 from five aspects: protection effectiveness, system construction, examination and approval and registration, cultural construction, and international cooperation.

According to the white paper, China's social satisfaction with intellectual property protection rose to 82.04 in 2023, a record high. In terms of system construction, the legal system of intellectual property rights has been continuously improved, and about 20 laws, regulations and rules on intellectual property rights have been formulated, revised and promulgated throughout the year, and the number of examination and approval and registration of intellectual property rights has maintained an overall growth.

According to a relevant responsible person of the State intellectual property Office, since 1998, China has issued an annual white paper on intellectual property protection for more than 20 years in a row. it has become an authoritative material to show the Chinese government's firm stand on strict protection of intellectual property rights and to help people from all walks of life at home and abroad understand the situation of intellectual property protection in China.
